Recent courses that we sat in for has some interesting points to ponder over. One point that keeps coming up is the importance of listening - listen to the others, listen to the other person, listen to someone who is giving you feedback, listen to someone who just wants a listening ear. Listening to the other person sometimes may lead to realisation that actually the goals are the same, but just different perspectives on how to get there. Or that the "dispute" may be of misunderstanding, different views, and sometimes a bit of hotheadedness that needs some cool air.
